To show support for the month of Breast Cancer Awareness the alpha Kappa Delta Phi Sorority, Inc. Alumnae Association at Virginia Commonwealth University host the Pink Ribbon Roll-Off every year in the month of October. This event started in 2010 and is becoming well-known throughout the Richmond area. The Pink Ribbon Roll-Off is a charity bowling tournament where the community can get together to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research. The revenue we raise from Pink Ribbon Roll-Off is donated to our partner, AVON Breast Cancer Crusade. aKDPhi Sorority, Inc. is proud to be in partnership with AVON Breast Cancer Crusade and our purpose is to help promote, educate, and fundraise in AVON's effort to find a cure for breast cancer. To this date, alpha Kappa Delta Phi's 48 chapters in the United States and Canada have donated over $250,000 to the fight against breast cancer.
